The mid-century modern building at 1275 Delaware Avenue was constructed in the early 1950’s as a medical building for physicians desiring easy access to the adjacent Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital complex. The 5-story building with a partial 6th floor, and was clad in blonde brick with continuous aluminum ribbon windows encircling each floor. A signature turquoise terra cotta tile ground floor façade facing Delaware Ave served as a prominent signboard for the medical center.
