6 Minute Building Stories, or 6Mbs, is part of a larger Building Stories dialogue. 6Mbs is an informal and fun gathering featuring presentations by esteemed speakers from diverse cultural disciplines in unique locations throughout Buffalo, NY. Speakers present their building story through 18 images.
6MBS was held on November 2nd at the Buffalo History Museum. Our very own Bradley Everdyke collaborated with the Buffalo History Museum on the restoration of the Museum’s Portico in 2016. This project began what has become the preservation of the Museum’s lower central gallery, the project he is presenting this evening. Ongoing professional work with the Buffalo History Museum has provided him with the opportunity to play a role in the Museum’s future, something he does not take for granted. He looks forward to the unique challenges and furthering his work with the Museum. Brad hopes to continue working with the Museum as long as they have him. `
Brad is a licensed architect with Carmina Wood Design. Since 2016, he has focused on historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects. He’s currently working on a variety of projects in Buffalo and Utica, New York. In addition to his work with CWD, Brad has lead Capstone Design Studios in UB’s Environmental Design program.
