We partnered with People Inc. to convert the former Highland Elementary School in Tonawanda into 38 affordable apartments. This adaptive reuse project renovated the 1920’s era former school into a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments that are handicap-adaptable. This is People’s Inc.’s first affordable housing project that is a mix designated for individuals with developmental disabilities or income-eligible apartments.
